Vishay Success at Women Leaders in Electronics Awards

May 2025
Our fantastic engineers travelled to London for the Women Leaders in Electronics Awards, and we’re delighted to announce our Principal Engineer, Rachel Watkins, was crowned ‘Electronics Engineer of the Year’.
In addition to her award, Rachel was also nominated for the ‘Mentor of the Year Award’, recognising not just her technical expertise, but her unfaltering dedication to mentoring and supporting others.

In addition to Rachel’s success, Vishay were proud to have another six engineers nominated across a range of categories throughout the evening.
Vishay’s Diana Ruslan, Jana Demitrova and Steffi Johnston were finalists for the ‘Electronics Rising Star Award.’ Neringa Markeviciute and Lisa Watkins were shortlisted for the ‘Management/Small Team Leader of the Year Award’, as well as Sinead Inson for the ‘Unsung Hero in a Leadership Role’ Award.
Your hard work, talent and achievement is so appreciated by all of us at Vishay Newport, and we’re thrilled to see this recognised formally at the Awards. Congratulations to you all! ”
