Vishay and CS Connected host Senedd reception on future of semiconductor industry in Wales

On Tuesday 15th July, Vishay and CS Connected hosted a Senedd reception on ‘A Fab Future: Skills and Growth in Welsh Semiconductors.
The event brought together professionals from across the semiconductor industry and the wider supply chain to celebrate and promote the fantastic work taking place in Wales, as well as to discuss how best to safeguard the future of the industry by attracting new talent.
The session was kindly sponsored by Member of the Senedd for Newport West, Jayne Bryant MS and featured a panel discussion on Skills and Growth in Welsh Semiconductors, featuring a panel of industry experts including, Caroline O’Brien from Kubos, Simon Pritchard, Philtronics, Sinead Inson, Vishay, Andrew Evans, KLA and Professor Owen Guy, Swansea University.
.In addition, the event provided a great opportunity to engage with Members of the Senedd to discuss the value and potential of the sector for Welsh jobs and economic growth.
