Vishay Leader makes shortlist for Wales Tech Awards
September 2025
Vishay are delighted that our brilliant leader Sinead Inson has made the shortlist for Best Tech Leader at the Wales Technology Awards.
Sinead, who is our Senior Manufacturing Manager, was shortlisted among Wales’ top tech talent – a testament to the impact of her leadership and the strength of our team’s vision. Business News Wales covered the news: Wales Technology Awards 2025 Finalists Revealed.
Paul James, Managing Director of Vishay Newport said: “we couldn’t be more thrilled to see her hard work and ingenuity recognised on such a respected platform.”
This is not the first time one of Vishay’s female engineers has been recognised. In May, our Principal Engineer, Rachel Watkins, was crowned ‘Electronics Engineer of the Year’ at the Women in Electronics Awards.
In addition to Rachel’s success, Vishay were proud to have another six engineers nominated across a range of categories. Diana Ruslan, Jana Demitrova and Steffi Johnston were finalists for the ‘Electronics Rising Star Award.’ Neringa Markeviciute and Lisa Watkins were shortlisted for the ‘Management/Small Team Leader of the Year Award’, as well as Sinead Inson for the ‘Unsung Hero in a Leadership Role’ Award.
